About Model Governance Index

A procurement-grade reference that helps risk, compliance, and platform teams source and vet AI governance and AI compliance consultants, and understand the named frameworks their programs are actually measured against.

Most AI governance content is either a generic five-stage maturity template with no framework grounding, or enterprise content marketing from a single vendor. Model Governance Index exists to fix the first conversation: it organizes real, named frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, IIA's AI Auditing Framework) into buyer guides, turns each service category into a plain checklist of what to verify and what to ask, then routes real sourcing requests toward qualified consultants.

Alongside the sourcing layer, we maintain a sourced reference to notable real vendors active in the space, so the vocabulary and the landscape are one click away.
